Common current sensors for new energy vehicles
Do you know? There are over a hundred applications of automotive sensors, ranging from the engine to the chassis, body, and other positions. The rise of new energy vehicles in recent years also relies on the role of sensors in the system. Today we will introduce current sensors. Current sensors play an indispensable role in new energy vehicles. Current sensors are mainly used in battery system management, motor drive control, power modules and other three electrical systems. Current sensors can accurately manage automotive batteries and hybrid vehicle power battery packs. 1) An open-loop current sensor that utilizes the principle of electromagnetic induction can protect the AC current signal from overcurrent under isolation conditions, thereby facilitating the implementation of switch output; 2) Current sensors can also detect the charging and discharging currents, improving the efficiency of automotive batteries; 3) The current sensor can also real-time collect the terminal voltage and temperature of each battery in the power battery pack of electric vehicles, as well as the charging and discharging current and the total voltage of the battery pack, to prevent overcharging or discharging of the battery.
